How to Place a Bespoke Order

A considered, collaborative process from your first enquiry to the final fitting.

  1. Submit Your Enquiry

    Complete our bespoke enquiry form with details of your occasion, preferred design, event date, budget, and any inspiration you would like to share. Our team will review your enquiry and get back to you regarding availability and the next steps.

  2. Book a Consultation

    Once your enquiry has been reviewed, our team will guide you through booking a design consultation. Our consultation fee is ₦100,000, which is deductible from the final cost of your garment. This includes one principal design sketch, up to two alterations to the sketch, and a discussion with our team to refine your design brief.

  3. Develop Your Design

    Following your consultation, we develop your ideas into a considered design, exploring the silhouette, fabrics, colours, and details of your garment. Your design is refined through the agreed sketch and alterations before approval.

  4. Confirm Your Order

    Once your design and quotation have been approved, we confirm your order and arrange payment and measurements. Production begins once the applicable payment requirements have been met and the necessary measurements have been received.

  5. Production and Progress Updates

    Your garment enters production at our atelier. Throughout the process, we provide regular updates on its progress, keeping you informed and involved from construction to the finishing details. This ensures that you and our team remain aligned at every stage.

  6. Fittings and Adjustments

    We arrange fittings to assess the fit, proportions, and finishing of your garment and make the necessary adjustments. For clients outside Lagos, our team will guide you through the appropriate virtual and remote arrangements.

  7. Final Quality Check and Delivery

    Once your garment is complete, it undergoes a final quality check before being prepared for collection or delivery. Our team will coordinate the arrangements with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place my order?

Depending on the intricacy of your design, we recommend placing your order approximately six months to one year before your event. This allows sufficient time for design development, sourcing, construction, and fittings.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

Our ₦100,000 consultation fee is non-refundable, as it covers the time, attention, and creative expertise dedicated to your enquiry and design development. However, it is deductible from the final cost of your garment when you proceed with your order.

Can I place an order if I live outside Lagos?

Absolutely! We welcome clients from outside Lagos and offer virtual consultations and appointments. We have successfully created garments for many brides remotely, and our team will guide you through the process, including measurements, fittings, and delivery arrangements.

Can I make changes to my design after approval?

Yes. Depending on the nature and extent of the changes requested, additional costs may apply, and your production timeline may be affected. Any changes to the cost or timeline will be discussed with you before proceeding.

How will I know what stage my garment is at?

We provide regular updates throughout production, keeping you informed of your garment’s progress and any important developments. Your timely feedback and approvals help us maintain the agreed timeline.

Can I place an urgent order?

Rush orders are considered based on the complexity of the design, the time required for production, and our atelier’s availability. Please include your event date in your enquiry so we can assess your request.

How will I receive my finished garment?

Our team will coordinate collection or delivery once your garment has passed its final quality check. Delivery options and any applicable charges will be communicated in advance.
